Skin infections, otherwise known as dermatitis, can result from many possible causes. Most infections come from the skin having some sort of allergic reaction. Dermatitis is sometimes used synonymously with eczema, though there are some differences between these conditions.
looks like what i have except my rash is in the form of a complete circle with one in the center looks like a flower to me it becomes red and i use antifungal cream lotrimin and it dries it up but it doesn't really disappear as i would like for it to do
It may be sarcoidiosis. I have something similar on my legs. Thank God for a wonderful dermatologist who after a biopsy confirmed the condition and treated it. Your friend's looks like it is very treatable. The sooner the better.
